Visit Dublin: A Quick Introduction To The Irish Capital

There are many places that I old like to visit at some stage and Dublin is one of them. Apparently Dublin is the heart and soul of Ireland. If the pictures are to be taken into account then it is certinly one of the most beautiful places to visit within the British Isles. It is located close to the eastern coast and sprawls out from Dublin Bay thus giving breathtaking views.

Fascinatingly enough, Dublin was once a Celtic village until it became a Viking settlement. It expanded during those ages and contains many remnants from the past today. You can find artifacts in museums as well as viewing the rich history of the city in its many aged buildings. Dublin has become one of the most visited cities in Europe as a result of this history as well as the culture and adventure it can provide.

The home of the Guinness Brewery, Dublin has a reputation for being a party city but it is so much more than that. Dublin also has a rich educational heritage and is home to the University of Dublin, which is over 400 years old. Trinity College is another institution that is found in the city and is architecturally beautiful. The library there is home to the famous 'Book of Kells', transcribed by Celtic Monks over 1000 years ago.

Of course it is so much more than that, but you'll have to check in later in the week for more information about Dublin!
